Today, in class:

-- We will do hands-on skill building, creating an Excel spreadsheet from instructions in a handout, for the first ten minutes of class.

-- We discuss determining and inputting simple formulas in Excel. Assistance will be provided in class to insure everyone is able to input today's addition formula for several cells correctly.

-- Then we will have a PowerPoint presentation on formatting spreadsheets in Excel.

-- Then we will discuss using formulas in Excel and work on on our Excel stock tracker worksheets, using what we have learned.

(First hour received an extension until the end of class, due to the shortened class period because of lunch count, etc.) *** Please be aware, several grades will be based on this spreadsheet, as we will continue to work with this spreadsheet and multiple grades will be given based on work we will continue to do with it.

-- Please study vocabulary on Quizlet for the first ten minutes of class.

-- Then we will talk about coding, using Code.org, for the rest of the hour.
